Who is Natasya Ulibasa Palasa? Puteri Indonesia North Sumatera 2026

Natasya Ulibasa Palasa (born January 5, 2000) is a entrepreneur, beauty queen, and model of Toraja-Batak descent who was crowned Puteri Indonesia North Sumatra 2026.

Natasya will compete in the Puteri Indonesia 2026 national beauty pageant, which will be held on April 24, 2026, at the Jakarta Convention Hall, Jakarta.

Background

Natasya Ulibasa Palasa, often called "Tata," was born on January 5, 2000, to parents of Torajan and Batak descent. Her father is from South Sulawesi, and her mother, Evi Sihombing, is from Siborong-borong, North Tapanuli Regency.

Natasya was born in Depok, West Java, and raised in Depok and Jakarta. She is an alumnus of SMAN 2 Depok.

Natasya has been involved in modeling since her teens and attended the Kimmy Jayanti Modeling School in 2016. She was also a retired member of the Indonesian Flag Raising Team (PPI) from Depok in 2015 and Indonesian Flag Raising Team (PPI) from West Java Province in 2017.

Natasya graduated from the University of Indonesia majoring in Public Administration in 2021. She then continued her education at Columbia University majoring in Public Administration. 

In 2023, she and her team founded the Yayasan Darma Nagara Mandaya Indonesia, or Danaya Indonesia for short. This foundation works in the education sector by providing scholarships, scholarship information, training, and seminars for students in Indonesia and has successfully sent several Indonesian students to study abroad.

Pageantry

Natasya participated in the Puteri Indonesia 2026 finalist auditions held in early April at Graha Mustika Ratu, South Jakarta. She was declared a finalist after several days of waiting.

She then assumed the title of Puteri Indonesia North Sumatra 2026, replacing Putri Agita Milala and Morana Angelica Rajagukguk.

In early March 2026, she flew to Silangit to begin her activities and meet with regional leaders. Natasya stopped at SMA Negeri 1 Siborong-borong to provide guidance to students there on their pursuit of higher education. Afterward, she departed for Medan to meet with the Head of the North Sumatra Province Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy Office, Mr. Yuda Pratiwi Setiawan, S.STP, MSP. Natasya also received official support from Bobby Nasution, the Governor of North Sumatra Province.

She will compete against various finalists from across Indonesia for the title of Puteri Indonesia 2026, which will be held on April 24, 2026, at the Jakarta Convention Hall, South Jakarta.
